Ocean View Home in Ponce Inlet of Daytona Beach

Ponce Inlet is the gateway to the Atlantic Ocean, in this pristine part of Florida's central coast. Set at the southernmost tip of the peninsula where Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, and Daytona Beach Shores are found, it is where the Intracoastal waterway, and all its arterial canals, flow into the Atlantic.

About 9 miles south of Daytona, Ponce Inlet is being developed as a low density community, focused around one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. It is very wide, with an extensive dune field and thriving native plants, good fishing off the jetty, good surfing, and a swift current in the inlet all made for outstanding water activities.

All the advantages of a peninsula are here, including boating on inland waterways or the open ocean, charter boat fishing, and sunbathing on unspoiled beaches in a oat-covered dunes. There are no souvenir or T-shirt shops, no gas stations or grocery stores, a few marinas and restaurants along the Intracoastal, and a casino boat that sails the canals. But Ponce Inlet appeals to those who want to relax and enjoy the water amenities. Use the widgets to search homes and condos for sale in Ponce Inlet on the Ponce Inlet page on my web site.
